Scattered showers and thundershowers were reported through the central and Southern Plains region Thursday. Showers were also noted in the northwest and far west areas of the Midwest. Mainly dry elsewhere in the key U.S. and Canadian Prairies crop areas Thursday. Temperatures ranged from the 60s and 70s across the Canadian Prairies to the middle to upper 90s in Texas.
