Scattered showers and thundershowers occurred during Wednesday through the southeast Plains, across the central and southern Delta and into the southeast U.S. region. Showers were also reported in the west and north areas of the Canadian Prairies Wednesday. It was mainly dry elsewhere in the key crop areas. Temperatures ranged from the low 70s in parts of the Canadian Prairies and the northeast Midwest region to the low 100s in north Texas.
