Showers and thunderstorms were noted throughout much of the southeastern U.S. along with the eastern Midwest Monday afternoon, and scattered thundershowers were also featured in the south-central Plains. Dry conditions were featured over the remainder of the primary U.S. and Canadian Prairie crop regions. Temperatures ranged from the mid-60s in the southern Canadian Prairies and northern North Dakota to the upper 90s in northern and western Oklahoma.

Tuesday will feature light rain showers in the central Plains and western Midwest, along with the Delta and Southeast, as well as the eastern Great Lakes. The showers will continue to sag south ...
