Showers and rain occurred Wednesday across the northern and eastern Midwest region. Showers and thundershowers were reported from the southeast Delta region into the southeast U.S areas during the day. Rainfall will favor developing crops but may lead to field work delays in these locations. Drier weather will be seen elsewhere in the key U.S. and Canadian Prairies crop areas Wednesday.
