Showers dotted the Midwest and Western Plains Wed afternoon. Other crop areas were dry. Temps were in the 50s north to the 90s in the southwest Plains.

Scattered showers are forecast for the Midwest and Central Plains Thursday. It will be favorable for planting before weekend rain. Still dry and stressful in Southern Plains wheat areas.
