Light rain showers were noted in northwestern Nebraska and southern South Dakota Tuesday. There were also rain and snow showers scattered in the Northern Plains, and moderate to heavy snow was featured in the eastern Canadian Prairies. Temperatures ranged from the mid 20s in southwestern Saskatchewan to the low 90s in west Texas.
