Wide contrasts in conditions are featured for Monday in the primary U.S. and Canadian Prairie crop regions. Snow and strong winds will cover the northern Plains and Prairies, with a further delay to the start of spring field work. In the Southern Plains, dry and very windy conditions will further deplete soil moisture and will stress wheat and pastures.
