Light snow is in store for the western and central Midwest through the Great Lakes Wednesday, with light rain in the eastern Midwest. Dry conditions will cover the rest of the primary U.S. and Canadian Prairie crop regions. Areas with rain and snow will have some transportation delays, and soil moisture benefit will be greatest where rain is occurring. In the Southern Plains, drier conditions will allow for recovery after two heavy snow events during the past week.
