Snow showers and some light snow occurred Thursday through northern areas of the Midwest, the northern and west-central areas of the Plains. Showers continued in Florida Thursday. Dry elsewhere in the key U.S. and Canadian Prairies crop and livestock areas. Temperatures ranged from the teens in the Canadian Prairies and the upper Midwest to the low 80s in south Florida.

Showers may linger Friday through southern Florida. A little light snow is possible in the west-central Plains and also from the upper Ohio River valley to the central Appalachian mountain area. Dry elsewhere in the key U.S. and Canadian Prairies ...
