Thursday will feature a round of light to moderate rain and some freezing moisture from the southeastern Plains through the northeastern Midwest. Some snow will also develop in the Canadian Prairies and far Northern Plains. Another area of precipitation in the form of moderate rain will develop in the southeastern U.S. Areas with precipitation will have some soil moisture additions; however, the southwestern Plains and northwestern Midwest continue to take in very little late-winter precipitation.
