Light snow or snow showers developed Friday through the southwest Canadian Prairies and parts of the Northern Plains the northwest Midwest regions of the U.S. Dry elsewhere in key U.S. and Canadian Prairies crop and livestock areas Friday. Temperatures ranged from below zero F in the eastern Prairies region to the low 70s in south Texas and south Florida. The central Argentina and the southern Brazil corn and soybean areas were both very hot and mostly dry Friday.
