Light to locally moderate snow or snow showers occurred Thursday in the Canadian Prairies. Snow showers occurred in the Northern Plains region as well. It was mainly dry elsewhere in the key U.S. crop areas. Temperatures ranged from below zero F in the Canadian Prairies to near 80 in south Texas and south Florida.
