Light snow will move across the western Midwest Friday, and the Delta and Deep South will see light to moderate rain. Moisture benefit will be light in the dry areas of the western Midwest, with no more than a quarter-inch of melted precipitation equivalent. Temperatures will continue to be frigid in northern and central areas.

Highs: Subzero to single digits Canadian Prairies; Teens/20s northern through southwestern Plains, northern and western Midwest; 30s/40s Texas Panhandle, southeastern Plains, central, eastern and southern Midwest, Delta; 50s/60s western, central and eastern Texas, Deep South, Southeast; 70s south Texas.
