Moderate to heavy snow continued in the eastern Midwest Wednesday afternoon. Dry conditions were in place over the rest of the primary U.S. and Canadian Prairie crop regions, and cold temperatures dominated the scene. Values ranged from sub-zero in the Canadian Prairies to the low 50s in south Texas.

Thursday will feature a round of light snow in the Northern Plains and northwestern Midwest. Some transportation delays may occur; however, the extent of snow does not appear to be as great as last week's storm system.
