Very dry conditions were noted in all the major U.S. and Prairie crop regions Monday afternoon. Temperatures ranged from the low teens in the southern Canadian Prairies to the mid 80s in south Texas.

Tuesday will feature a few light rain showers in the Delta and eastern Midwest, but nothing of significance elsewhere for precipitation. This pattern remains one where the bias in forecasting needs to favor dryness or lighter than expected moisture, until a big change actually occurs.
