Light rain and light snow will move across the Northern Plains Monday. We'll also see a few showers in the far southeastern Midwest. Dry conditions will cover the rest of the U.S. and Prairie crop regions. Strong winds will be noted as well over the Northern Plains. This pattern continues to deny appreciable moisture improvement over the driest areas of the Plains and western Midwest.

Highs: Single digits/teens northern Prairies; 20s/30s southern Prairies; 40s/50s Northern and central Plains, northern Midwest, Great Lakes; 60s/70s elsewhere with 80s in south Texas.
