Dry conditions dominated the scene across all major U.S. and Prairie crop regions Friday afternoon. Temperatures ranged from the upper teens in south-central Saskatchewan to the mid 80s in south Texas.

Saturday will be dry again as December gets under way. We’ll see some light precipitation in the form of rain showers over the eastern Midwest this weekend, but nothing to alleviate drought conditions in the western Midwest and Plains.
