Dry conditions covered all the major U.S. and Prairie crop regions Wednesday afternoon. Temperatures ranged from the mid-teens in the southern Canadian Prairies to the upper 70s in south Texas.

Thursday will continue dry except for light snow in the western Canadian Prairies. This pattern remains unfavorable for moisture in the very dry central U.S. going into the end of the week.
