METEOROLOGICAL DISCUSSION

The upper level analysis shows a weak trough over the eastern Midwest region early this morning. We see a stronger short wave trough moving across the Canadian Prairies towards the northeast plains region at this time. The ridges are weak to moderate and centered over the Rockies/southwest and central plains region and over the east coast states.
