DTN Reporters to Miss Lock-Up

OMAHA (DTN) -- A winter storm in Washington, D.C., is keeping DTN reporters from getting to the Capitol for this week's USDA report, but it won't delay the report's release, USDA verified on Wednesday.

USDA is set to release its March estimates of supply and demand on Friday at 11 a.m. CST.

DTN sends reporters to the press lock-up for the major grain statistics reports, which gives reporters access to the report numbers before they're made public. This allows DTN to generate tables and news content that's ready to publish when the report is released, which provides a valuable service ...
