USDA Weekly Crop Progress

OMAHA (DTN) -- Winter wheat condition worsened considerably in the week ended May 4, according to the USDA weekly Crop Progress and Condition report issued Monday afternoon.

Thirty-eight percent of the crop is now rated poor to very poor, compared to 34% last week and 39% last year. The percent of the crop rated good to excellent fell to 31% compared to 33% last week.
