USDA Weekly Crop Progress

OMAHA (DTN) -- The U.S. soybean crop for 2013 is harvested and the corn crop is 95% in the bin, according to the last USDA weekly Crop Progress report for the growing season.

Last week the corn crop was 91% harvested and the five-year average is 91%.

"Monday's report shows that harvest is going well and should be viewed as bearish for corn prices," said DTN Analyst Todd Hultman.

Winter wheat is 93% emerged compared to 89% last week and an 89% five-year average. Condition ratings worsened slightly.
