USDA Weekly Crop Progress

OMAHA (DTN) -- Winter wheat conditions worsened slightly in the week ended April 20, according to USDA's latest weekly Crop Progress report. Twenty-three percent of the crop is now rated very poor to poor, compared to 22% last week.

"USDA's winter wheat ratings resulted in a DTN Winter Wheat Index of 60, down from 62 a week ago and even with a year ago," reported DTN Analyst Todd Hultman.
