WASHINGTON (DTN) -- A small change in the average corn yield, up 0.3 bushels to 122.3 bushels per acre, boosted USDA's production estimate 19 million bushels to 10.725 billion bushels. USDA left harvested acreage unchanged at 87.7 million acres.

USDA's soybean yield estimate also increased to 39.3 bpa, up 1.5 bpa from October. Yields are higher or unchanged in all states except Oklahoma and Texas, and total production is estimated at 2.97 bb. Soybean acreage was left unchanged at 75.7 ma.

Sorghum production was estimated at 256 mb, up 4 mb from last month.
