Ethanol futures posted moderate to strong buyer support as follow-through activity continues to develop following tighter supplies at the end of last week. The turn lower in inventory levels and slip in overall ethanol production through the week has led to moderate 3-to-4-cents price gains Thursday. This pushed front-month June futures over 10 cents per gallon higher in the last two trading sessions. Additional support may continue to develop as traders look for stronger ethanol and gasoline demand during the Memorial Day weekend.
