Ethanol futures continue to find strong support following the first of the month as traders focus on both higher corn prices and tight supplies. The expectation is that strong market support will continue to drive ethanol demand through the upcoming months. This pushed April contracts 6 cents per gallon higher, closing at $3.519 a gallon. Traders continue to be concerned about attaining available short-term product, but are much less concerned about supplies through the rest of the summer months.
