Ethanol futures continue to erode following the evidence in Wednesday's report that ethanol supplies continue to build and production is strengthening. January futures posted a 10.1 cent per gallon loss, closing at $1.83 a gallon. Other nearby contracts posted strong gains due to uncertainty about short-term market support as well as lower corn prices affecting production costs.

RBOB gasoline futures posted moderate pressure Thursday as lack of commercial support was mixed with increased noncommercial or investment uncertainty. Prices posted uniform losses through all nearby contracts with pressure of 2.4 to 2.8 cents per gallon. January futures posted a 2.63 cent ...
