Ethanol futures continue to gain buyer support despite the pullback in corn prices Friday. December ethanol prices moved 3.6 cents per gallon higher, closing at $2.05 a gallon. The strength in deferred contracts was much less prominent than moves through the spot December month contract, but firm support remains evident at a time when RBOB gasoline markets trickled lower. Trade volume remains sluggish as trader interest and attendance remains light following the holiday break.
