Ethanol futures posted light losses at the end of the week based more on covering positions than any additional market shifts seen in the market. December futures closed at $2.035 per gallon after a 1.2 cent per gallon loss. All other nearby contracts posted 2 cent losses as traders look forward to light trade during the week of Thanksgiving and little additional market activity. December contracts are still up 25 cents per gallon for the week with the focus on tighter short-term supplies and steady to strong demand through the early holiday season.
