Ethanol futures closed mixed in a very narrow range Monday despite renewed support in corn futures prices early in the week. November ethanol futures remain unchanged, closing at $1.687 per gallon. With nearby ethanol futures trading at nearly a $1-per-gallon discount to the RBOB gasoline market, support is still unable to be found given the focus on current production and inventory levels. All other nearby contracts were contained from 0.3 cents per gallon lower to 0.3 cents per gallon higher.
