The Energy Information Administration report on Wednesday showed a 1.2% drop of total ethanol stocks in the U.S for the week ending June 21 even as production rose 1.4% during the same week. The July futures closed higher at $2.466 a gallon and August and September futures closed marginally unchanged at $2.363 a gallon and $2.247 a gallon respectively.
