Ethanol futures posted moderate to strong pressure in front-month contracts following the pressure in the corn market. This pushed June futures 3.4 cents per gallon lower, to close at $2.71 a gallon. Other nearby contracts were limited to narrow losses, closing at 0.7 to 1.1 cents per gallon lower as there is still expected to be moderate support in the ethanol market due to tighter supplies.
