Ethanol futures slipped as they followed front-month corn futures lower Friday, while light trade was seen through the complex. June futures lost 2.7 cents per gallon as traders are also concerned that buying may slow significantly following Memorial Day. Front-month futures closed at $2.60 per gallon. Other nearby contracts lost 1.7 to 2.4 cents per gallon, although trade remained extremely light.
