Ethanol futures slipped lower Monday following light pressure in the corn futures market. Front-month June futures posted a 1-cent-per-gallon loss, closing at $2.661 a gallon. The lack of support in the corn market continues to keep traders in the ethanol market cautious despite the strong price rally in the gasoline markets.

RBOB gasoline futures closed mixed in a narrow range with traders focusing on the continued support in the outside markets. Narrow trade activity developed through the end of the session with June futures closing at $2.9056 a gallon down 0.13 a gallon.
