WINNIPEG (Dow Jones) -- Delivery Pool closed at noon CDT Oct. 2, with stronger farmer participation than they expected, a release from the company said Tuesday.

The original sign-up deadline for the Early Delivery Pool was extended from Sept. 28 to Oct. 2 at noon CDT because of technical difficulties.

CWB President and CEO Ian White said they are pleased with the number of farmers who signed up for the Early Delivery Pool.
