DTN Weekly Distillers Grains Update

Prices of dried distillers grains have risen substantially in the past month and that trend will likely continue, although whether prices will reach last August's record levels remains to be seen.

The DTN DDG spot price average rose for the fourth week in a row this week, increasing from $266 per ton last week to $269 per ton this week. This continuing upward motion marks an increase of $14 per ton in the past four weeks, and is the highest point DDG prices have reached since mid-October.
