DTN Weekly Distillers Grains Update

A year ago, the headline for the DTN DDG Update's 2011 year-end summary stated "Record-Setting DDG Prices Characterize 2011," and the column proclaimed that prices of DDG broke the $200-per-ton mark for the first time.

Little did we know last January that the $200-per-ton mark would be nothing compared to the new record highs in store for 2012. The DTN DDG spot price average remained below $200 per ton for only the first five weeks of the year.
