We are having a hard time trying to raise dairy calves. We get them at one- to four-days-old from a local dairy. They tell us to give bulls a quart of colostrum. but I did not think colostrum helped after 24 hours. We give them Re-Sorb and Bio-Mycin 200 and ease them onto a 20% protein/12% fat diet. Most of the problems we see are from loose bowels.
