(Dow Jones) -- Strategie Grains Thursday raised its forecast for the European Union's 2014-15 soft wheat harvest by 0.3 million metric tons to 137.7 million tons, mainly due to higher acreage in Estonia, France, Poland and Romania.

"We have this month increased estimated production in France, Poland and Romania (+0.3 million tons in total). Production has also increased to a smaller extent in Latvia and Lithuania (+0.1 million tons in total) due to higher trend yields.
