Canada Gets Info on U.S. Food

(DTN) -- The Foreign Agricultural Service will promote U.S.-grown food to Canadian consumers via a recently-launched website, according to a U.S. Department of Agriculture blog by FAS Agricultural Marketing Specialist Sonya Jenkins (http://1.usa.gov/…).

The website (www.tasteUS.ca) was developed through the FAS' food and beverage alliance, tasteUS! The website is intended to provide Canadians with information on top quality U.S.-grown food.

Canadians can find information about food and beverages imported into Canada from the U.S., such as fresh fruit, vegetables, wine, beer and fruit juices.

The website also provides information on the producers, including more than 40 U.S. cooperators ...
