Monsanto: Label Debate Lively

OMAHA (DTN) -- In detailing its biotech pipeline, executives at Monsanto Co., told analysts Wednesday morning that the company continues working on biotech wheat products but said commercialization of biotech wheat remains "several years away."

Hugh Grant, CEO of Monsanto, was asked during the company's quarterly call about public perception surrounding biotechnology and General Mills' announcement to stop using ingredients from biotech crops in Cheerios.
