DTN Retail Fertilizer Trends

OMAHA (DTN) -- Fertilizer prices are still on the rise as planting continues, according to DTN's national survey of retailers for the second week of May. This marks the thirteenth consecutive week all retail fertilizers' prices edged higher and may be reflecting some delivery bottlenecks.

Only one fertilizer price jumped any significant amount for a second week in row. 10-34-0 was up 5% compared to a month earlier. The starter fertilizer averaged $552/ton.
