DTN Retail Fertilizer Trends

OMAHA (DTN) -- As has been the case for the last several weeks, fertilizer prices are continuing to tumble, according to retailers tracked by DTN for the fourth week of August. A majority of the eight major fertilizers registered significant decreases in retail prices.

Urea and UAN32 both slid 9% compared to prices a month ago. Urea had an average price of $481/ton and UAN32 averaged $387/ton. 10-34-0 dropped 8% from last month and now has an average price of $552/ton.
