DTN Retail Fertilizer Trends

OMAHA (DTN) -- Fertilizer prices are fairly steady, according to retailers contacted by DTN, and farmers polled plan on staying the course in their fertilizer application plans.

Seven of the eight major fertilizers were lower in price compared to last month during the first full week of December, but these moves to the low side were fairly diminutive. DAP had an average price of $641 per ton, MAP $675/ton, potash $615/ton, urea $577/ton, 10-34-0 $603/ton, UAN28 $370/ton and UAN32 $415/ton.
