DTN Retail Fertilizer Trends

OMAHA (DTN) --Retail fertilizer prices tracked by DTN continued to see very little movement during the third week of May 2013.

All of the eight major fertilizers were lower compared to last month, but these moves were fairly minor. DAP had an average price of $611/ton, MAP $654/ton, potash $587/ton, urea $566/ton, 10-34-0 $612, anhydrous $844/ton, UAN28 $399/ton and UAN32 $450/ton.

UAN28 dropped back below $400/ton for the first time in nine weeks. The third week of March 2013 was the last time the liquid nitrogen was below $400/ton.
