DTN Retail Fertilizer Trends

OMAHA (DTN) -- Retail fertilizer prices once again remain relatively unchanged, with only very minute declines, according to retailers tracked by DTN for the first week of November.

Average prices of all eight of the major fertilizers slipped since last month, but none showed a significant price drop, most falling less than 1%.

DAP averaged $519 per ton, MAP $564/ton, potash $491/ton and urea $440/ton. 10-34-0 was at $518/ton, anhydrous $652/ton, UAN28 $320/ton and UAN32 $367/ton.

On a price per pound of nitrogen basis, the average urea price was at $0.48/lb.N, anhydrous $0.40/lb.N, UAN28 $0.57/lb.N and UAN32 $0.57/lb.N.
