(Dow Jones) -- Ukraine is likely to exhaust its wheat export potential, which amounts to 5 million-5.3 million metric tons in the current marketing year, by Nov. 15-20, the agriculture ministry said Friday.

The ministry said by Oct. 16 since the beginning of the current marketing year July 1, Ukraine exported 7.101 million metric tons of grain, including 3.565 million tons of wheat, 2.007 million tons of corn and 1.437 million tons of barley. Grain exports in September totaled 1.3 million tons and in the first 18 days of October 942,000 tons.
