WINNIPEG (Dow Jones) -- Ending stocks of Canada's major grains and oilseeds will be much larger than earlier expectations, according to updated supply/demand estimates from Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada released Friday.

The updated tables take into account the Statistics Canada survey-based production estimates released earlier in the month.

Total ending stocks for the major grains and oilseeds are expected to total 21.565 million metric tons by the end of the 2013-14 (August-July) crop year.
