DECATUR, Ill. (DTN) -- Soybean sudden death syndrome in soybeans is an elusive adversary. At least farmers can put one worry to rest. Research shows glyphosate does not contribute to the development or severity of the soybean disease.

A collaborative three-year effort among soybean researchers from five Midwest universities and the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture Food and Affairs revealed findings in a news release this week. Iowa State University plant pathologist Daren Mueller led the study and colleague Yuba Kandel analyzed the data.
