OMAHA (DTN) -- The following are highlights from the weekly crop report from Saskatchewan Agriculture, for the period May 13 to May 19. The report was issued May 22.

Significant seeding progress was made this week, according to Saskatchewan Agriculture's weekly Crop Report. Twenty-two percent of the 2014 crop is now in the ground, up from 7% last week. The five-year (2009-2013) average for this time of year is 29%. A year ago, 27% of the crop was seeded thanks to warm weather.
